I made this wall hanging last year, but I shall take it to the Fayre as an example of the type of mixed media work I do.
I made this wall hanging of angels for the fayre that I am doing this weekend it is being held in an Abbey and it will have a religious theme, and hangbags are not exactly religious so am taking anything Angel orientated with me.
This handbag is made using strips of japanese fabric and then embellished with organza leaves, made using soluble fabric and organza and then machine stitched and the soluble glue washed out and then zapped with a heat gun.
This handbag has been made using crazy patchwork in autumn velvets and then overlaid with chiffon and machine embroidered.
This little bag was made laying soft skein knitting wool in rows onto felt and then embellished using the embellisher, then chiffon laid over the top and machine embroidered, then embellished with chiffon flowers.
This clutch bag has been made from Black Velvet, using Bondaweb and Transfoil and then black chiffon overlaid and machine embroidered.
I stitched this out as this is so true of my life.

Wow it worked, I hope you like the new Slide Show and Music, I did it all on my own.
I made the Old McDonald's Farm Book, for William my grandson instead of buying him an Easter egg. The Egg would have been less stressful than making the book and making the slide show on this Blog, its all a learning curve, especially at my age. Enjoy!!!
